Neutel approaching. Take part!
Have you registered yet to Neutrino Telescopes XVII ? The conference, which is hosted every two years in the beautiful Palazzo Franchetti (see picture, right), a venue facing the Grand Canal, will attract to Venice the most prominent physicists working in theory and experiments involving neutrinos. We expect a quite lively set of talks this year, with important new results from many facilities around the world and many new theoretical insights.
The conference also sports a well-groomed poster session. Posters at NeuTel are given the importance they deserve. The best posters also receive a prize, but this year the posters are judged together with a blog post – which will be published in this site – where the poster author summarizes the work.
Finally, this site should be considered an open venue for the exchange of information on fundamental physics with neutrinos. So if you have something interesting which you wish to share with the community of researchers in particle and astroparticle physics, we are glad to host a guest post contribution from you here. The rules of the game are as follows: submissions should be in text format (no word doc, no pdf, no latex), with pictures sent separately. Pictures should be well commented in the body of the text. The author should also send a mugshot and a 5-line bio, and should be available to contribute to the comments thread as it develops in the days following the publication. And I have the final word on the piece’s publishability, its format, and its editing. Contact me at tommaso(dot)dorigo(at)gmail(dot)com for more information or for your submission. Thanks!
